Our Story

In the spring of 2023, a group of Christians from the St. George area began discussions with the leadership at Grace Valley Church in Dundas. Their goal was to bring a church like Grace Valley to their own community. In response, Grace Valley hired Kevin as the Site Leader for this new church plant, and the vision began to take shape.

That summer, the group started with weekly prayer walks in St. George, asking God to bless the Village and guide them in their mission. As they walked, they prayed for the community and for the new church, trusting that God would open doors and lead them in this new endeavor.

By the fall, the group began a series of “core group” training sessions, diving deep into what it means to be a church that takes the claims of Scripture seriously and truly cares for the people around them. 

On March 3rd 2024, their prayers and efforts bore fruit with the launch of Grace Village Church, which began holding weekly worship services. 

Grace Village Church is now a site of Grace Valley Church, under the leadership of the session(elders) of Grace Valley Church, supporting the new church in St. George as it grows and serves its community. 

As Grace Village Church matures we will seek to be a particular church in the Presbyterian Church in America. (PCA)
